A note from the ACBL listing: Shadowfax ("The Friendly Bridge Club" ) is hosted in the farmhouse of a working horse and vegetable farm in Morris County, NJ. Our three weekly games all begin at 10am and usually have eight plus tables. Our Tuesday game, for those with less than 1,000 ACBL Master Points, is preceded by the play and discussion of a practice hand at 9:30am. Play usually concludes by 1pm. Wednesday and Friday Open games play more boards and thus run past 2pm. We include a brief break around noon - players are encouraged to bring their lunch, relax on our wide country porch, or take in the fresh country air while strolling the grounds. We provide coffee, tea, and a variety of healthy snacks and traditional sweets during all our games. Reservations are never required and singles are welcome - Shadowfax can supply partners for all levels of players, including life master partners! We offer group or private lessons as well as supervised play - we love to help absolute beginners to get started!
